Sydney's Fast-Growing Suburbs Reach the $1 Million Median House Price Milestone

Sydney's $1 Million Suburbs: The Market Keeps Moving

Sydney's property market continues to evolve, with a number of suburbs recently joining the $1 million median house price club.

Using PropertyDirector's popular Suburb Capital Growth Report, here are some of the suburbs that have now crossed this significant milestone:

* Bardia, NSW - $1.160M

* Mayfield East, NSW - $1.064M

* Camden South, NSW - $1.200M

* Rooty Hill, NSW - $1.145M

* Bonnyrigg, NSW - $1.242M

* Doonside, NSW - $1.127M

* St Marys, NSW - $1.230M

* South Penrith, NSW - $1.156M

What's particularly interesting is that several of these suburbs may not have traditionally been considered premium locations. Over time, however, strong population growth, improving infrastructure, and increasing demand from first-home buyers and families have helped drive prices above the $1 million mark.

As many of Sydney's established blue-chip suburbs have become increasingly unaffordable, buyers have looked further afield for value - fueling growth in well-connected middle and outer suburban markets.
