Have these QLD growth suburbs still delivered?
Back in early 2024, we highlighted a group of Queensland suburbs that had already experienced strong short-term growth, rising around 30%-48% within a matter of months.
At the time, we noted that these suburbs still showed further growth potential.
Fast forward to Q2 2026, and several have continued to perform strongly:
Chuwar, QLD
Median price increased from $890,000 in Q1 2024 to $1,000,000 in Q2 2026
Further growth: 12% / +$110,000
Raceview, QLD
Median price increased from $600,000 in Q1 2024 to $830,000 in Q2 2026
Further growth: 38% / +$230,000
Nelly Bay, QLD
Median price increased from $600,000 in Q1 2024 to $807,500 in Q2 2026
Further growth: 35% / +$207,500
Many investors focus only on suburbs that have shown little recent growth but have strong fundamentals.
That can be a valuable strategy, but it’s also important not to overlook suburbs that have already performed well and continue to show positive growth drivers.
Momentum, when supported by strong fundamentals, can still point to further opportunity.
