Thanks to Stanley for organising yesterday’s property developers meetup in the city - a small but highly experienced group.
Great to also see turnout of property investors, including many traditional property investors exploring the shift into development. A common theme was starting with lower-risk projects like duplexes and subdivisions before progressing into larger unit developments.
Stanley shared valuable insights on Joint Ventures (JVs) - covering key considerations, different JV structures, and the role experienced investors play in these partnerships. One key takeaway: seasoned investors often spread smaller investments across multiple projects to manage risk while still achieving solid long-term returns.
It was also inspiring to connect with full-time developers who’ve made the leap from their careers and are now fully focused on building their property development portfolios.
